PMB SPAR Weekend Witness Ladies 10/5km, 2010

The SPAR Weekend Witness Ladies’ 10/5km is the oldest of the SPAR Ladies Races, started by a Pietermaritzburg store as a service to its customers. This ethos remains with each entrant receiving a breakfast pack on finishing at The Oval, Pietermaritzburg’s historic cricket grounds in Alexandra Park.
The course has changed for the 2010 event to accommodate a partnership with The Oval Craft Market, an added attraction for participants and supporters alike.
Both the 5km and 10km events start at 08:00 in Park Drive, directly outside The Oval heading towards Alan Paton Drive, climbing the tree lined Princess Elizabeth Drive, onto Alexandra Road and doing a loop through the suburbs returning to The Oval via College Road. The 5km event then enters the stadium for the finish line, whilst the 10km continue for a second loop, with a slight variation.
This event always attracts maximum numbers and participants are encouraged to enter early to avoid disappointment.

Entrants must collect their race numbers, Mr Price Timing chip, t-shirts and promo bags from the Oval Cricket Stadium, Alexandra Park, Pietermaritzburg on:
